Colorado College

A private, four-year college, Colorado College is located on a 90-acre campus just north of downtown Colorado Springs near the base of America’s Mountain, the 14,115-foot Pikes Peak. With an enrollment of approximately 2,000 students and a 10-to-1 student-to-faculty ratio, this liberal arts school has a long and proud tradition. The student body is typically composed of students from all 50 states and several foreign countries. The Tigers’ first season of collegiate hockey was 1937-38 while the program has produced two Hobey Baker Award winners. The Tigers, winners of the 1950 and 1957 NCAA Championships, play their home games at The Broadmoor World Arena. The arena, which opened in 1998 and has hosted two NCAA Regionals, has a seating capacity of 7,380.
