Tickets for 2020 NCHC Frozen Faceoff Now on Sale

All-session ticket packages available for NCHC’s championship weekend March 20-21

SAINT PAUL, Minn. – All-session tickets to the 2020 NCHC Frozen Faceoff go on sale today (Friday, Nov. 8) to the general public, Xcel Energy Center and the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) announced Friday morning. The NCHC’s seventh annual championship weekend is set for March 20-21, 2020 and will once again be held at Xcel Energy Center, the home of the NHL’s Minnesota Wild.

All-session ticket packages to the 2020 NCHC Frozen Faceoff include two tickets: one ticket to see both semifinals on Friday, March 20 and one ticket to see the third-place game and a champion crowned on Saturday, March 21. On March 20, the first semifinal begins at 4:00 p.m. CT with the second game at 7:30 p.m. CT. The following day, the third-place game begins at 3:30 p.m. CT with the championship at 7:30 p.m. CT.

All-session packages start at $60 and can be purchased at the Xcel Energy Center Box Office or online at beginning at noon CT today (Nov. 8). For groups of 12 or more call 651-312-3486. Any fan who purchases a 2020 NCHC Frozen Faceoff all-session ticket package by Dec. 31, 2019 is eligible to win access to a special NCHC Chalk Talk and VIP Brunch on championship Saturday, March 21. Five lucky winners and their guest will join NCHC Commissioner Josh Fenton and other special guests for brunch at Herbie’s on the Park, followed by a behind the scenes tour of Xcel Energy Center. Plus, each of the five winners receive an NCHC Frozen Faceoff gear package. Fans who already renewed their tickets for the 2020 event are also eligible for the VIP Brunch.

Along with the four hockey games at Xcel Energy Center, several fan events are planned around Frozen Faceoff weekend, including a Fan Skate, NCHC Awards Celebration, NCHC Fan Fest presented by Bud Light, and post-game parties each night. Frozen Faceoff team practices will be open to the public on Thursday, March 19 and Friday, March 20. The NCHC Fan Skate will once again take place on the eve of the Frozen Faceoff on Thursday, March 19 at Xcel Energy Center. Fan Fest presented by Bud Light, featuring music, interactive games, food and drink, and much more, will take place both days of the Frozen Faceoff with the exact location still to be announced.

Three of four participating teams from last year’s Frozen Faceoff went on to play in the NCAA Tournament, with Minnesota Duluth, who won the 2019 Frozen Faceoff, then going on to win its second straight NCAA national championship. The last four NCAA national champions have all played in the Frozen Faceoff prior to winning the NCAA title.
