With an Apple TV app for NCHC.tv announced at the beginning of the 2016-17 season, the NCHC has once again made watching games on NCHC.tv easier for fans to enjoy on their televisions with the announcement that NCHC.tv is now available as an app on Roku as well.
The conference is committed to providing industry leading technology and access to their fans with the launch of both official NCHC.tv apps. NCHC.tv now has two over the top applications available to hockey fans nationwide; Roku and Apple TV. The NCHC is among an elite group of collegiate conferences offering both the Roku and Apple TV Over The Top Applications.
Fans can consume all NCHC.tv live and on-demand High Definition Adaptive video on their Roku device and Apple TV allowing viewers to watch at their convenience on their TV. In order to access premium content (live games) within the apps, fans must have an active subscription to NCHC.tv. Both the Apple TV and Roku NCHC.tv apps will make all eight NCHC members' live and on-demand hockey content easily viewable on your TV. To download the NCHC.tv app for Roku, visit the Roku Channel Store. Users with the 4th generation Apple TV can download the NCHC.tv app from the App Store on their Apple TV device. Access to LIVE and premium content will require an NCHC.tv subscription from the desktop site, while on-demand video content will remain free to fans. Previous generations of the Apple TV (2nd generation and 3rd generation) does not support new apps, per Apple's policy.
