The National Collegiate Hockey Conference will hold its third annual conference championship, the 2016 NCHC Frozen Faceoff, at Target Center in Minneapolis, Minn. The winners of the conference quarterfinals, best-of-three series on campus sites, will meet in the NCHC semifinals on Friday, March 18 with the third-place and championship games on Saturday, March 19.
All-session tickets to the 2016 NCHC Frozen Faceoff are available at various price points depending on seat location (seating chart). For premium seats in the middle sections of the lower bowl (sections 109-113 and 129-133), all-session tickets will be $135 per person. For all other lower bowl seats and upper level sections 209-213 and 229-233 (rows A-H), tickets are $125. The remaining seats in the premium upper level sections (reserved seats in row J and higher in sections 209-213 and 229-233) cost $65 per ticket while all other upper level seats are $45 general admission tickets (no reserved seats).
The NCHC is also offering special student pricing for the NCHC Frozen Faceoff. Students of NCHC member schools can purchase all-session general admission tickets for $30 and may purchase up to two tickets per school ID. All-session group tickets are also available for parties of 10 or more with lower level tickets $120 per person and upper level tickets $55 per person. To purchase group tickets, call 612-673-1311. Single-day session pricing will be announced when those tickets go on sale later in the season.
Fans who purchased all-session tickets to the 2015 Frozen Faceoff can renew their tickets for 2016 while locking in their preferred seat location beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 8. Renewal information will be mailed to those who purchased all-session tickets in advance of last year’s Frozen Faceoff.
Returning fans can renew their 2016 Frozen Faceoff tickets and secure their preferred seat location by logging into their account online (log-in information will be provided on renewal form) or mailing the completed renewal form with payment to Target Center (address listed on renewal form). In order to secure their preferred seats, fans must renew their all-session Frozen Faceoff tickets by Friday, Oct. 30. Following Oct. 30, all unreserved seats will be released for general public sale.
Beginning on Thursday, Sept. 24, all-session tickets to the 2016 NCHC Frozen Faceoff will go on pre-sale to the general public, with limited sections available for purchase. The general public pre-sale for limited sections will last through November. Following the general public pre-sale, all-session tickets in any remaining available section of Target Center will go on sale to the general public Tuesday, Dec. 1.
Any fan, whether renewing or attending for the first time, that purchases an all-session ticket to the 2016 NCHC Frozen Faceoff by Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015 will receive additional incentives surrounding the NCHC’s championship weekend, along with the tickets. Among the incentives all-session ticket holders will receive are early entry into the arena, a special VIP entry door, a discount off NCHC merchandise and discounts on select Target Center concessions. Incentives will be provided to those eligible when receiving Frozen Faceoff commemorative tickets in early March of 2016.
Beginning Sept. 24, fans can purchase tickets at www.axs.com or www.targetcenter.com. Tickets can also be purchased at Target Center’s Box Office or by calling 1-888-9-AXS-TIX (888-929-7849). Applicable fees will be added if tickets are purchased on the web or by phone.

Along with the hockey games, a NCHC Fan Fest will once again be held outside and at Target Center prior to games each day, while an official NCHC Post-Game Party will also be offered each night.
