The National Collegiate Hockey Conference will hold its third annual conference championship, the 2016 NCHC Frozen Faceoff, at Target Center in Minneapolis, Minn. The winners of the conference quarterfinals, best-of-three series on campus sites, will meet in the NCHC semifinals on Friday, March 18 with the third-place and championship games on Saturday, March 19.
All-session tickets to the 2016 NCHC Frozen Faceoff are available at various price points depending on seat location (seating chart). For premium seats in the middle sections of the lower bowl (sections 109-113 and 129-133), all-session tickets will be $135 per person. For all other lower bowl seats and upper level sections 209-213 and 229-233 (rows A-H), tickets are $125. The remaining seats in the premium upper level sections (reserved seats in row J and higher in sections 209-213 and 229-233) cost $65 per ticket while all other upper level seats are $45 general admission tickets (no reserved seats).
The NCHC is also offering special student pricing for the NCHC Frozen Faceoff. Students of NCHC member schools can purchase all-session general admission tickets for $30 and may purchase up to two tickets per school ID. All-session group tickets are also available for parties of 10 or more with lower level tickets $120 per person and upper level tickets $55 per person. To purchase group tickets, call 612-673-1311. Single-day session pricing will be announced when those tickets go on sale in February.
Fans who purchased all-session tickets to the 2015 NCHC Frozen Faceoff had the first chance to renew their tickets for 2016 and reserve their preferred seats by Oct. 30, however the ticket renewal period has now closed. Those who did not renew in time, but still wish to purchase tickets to the 2016 NCHC Frozen Faceoff, may do so during the pre-sale or general public on-sale period. Those fans wishing to keep their same seats as last year may also contact the Target Center Box Office at 612-673-0900 and Target Center will do their best to accommodate seating requests, though same seats are not guaranteed as all unrenewed seats have been released to the general public.
All-session tickets to the 2016 NCHC Frozen Faceoff are currently on pre-sale to the general public, with limited sections available for purchase. The general public pre-sale for limited sections will last through November. Following the general public pre-sale, all-session tickets in any remaining available section of Target Center will go on sale to the general public Tuesday, Dec. 1.
Any fan, whether renewing or attending for the first time, that purchases an all-session ticket to the 2016 NCHC Frozen Faceoff by Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015 will become a Priority Ticket Holder and receive several additional benefits surrounding the NCHC’s championship weekend, along with watching the best in college hockey. In addition, Priority Ticket Holders will be allowed early entry into the arena via a VIP entry door available only to all-session ticket holders. All coupons, vouchers and VIP identification will be distributed as part of the commemorative Frozen Faceoff game tickets, which will be sent to purchasers in early March of 2016. Information on how and where to redeem the coupons/vouchers will be explained with the ticket mailing.

Along with the hockey games, the popular NCHC Fan Fest will once again be held at Target Center prior to games each day, including on 1st Avenue between 6th and 7th Streets on Friday. Fan Fest will once again feature some of Minneapolis' best food vendors, live music and interactive games to get people excited prior to the semifinal games in Target Center. In addition, an official NCHC Post-Game Party with drink and appetizer specials will also take place after the games each night at 508 Bar & Restaurant. Other events surrounding the NCHC Frozen Faceoff include an NCHC Fan Skate on Thursday, March 17, which is free to the public and takes place on the ice at Target Center, as well as the NCHC Awards Celebration on the evening of March 17.
